Welcome
Just a few rambling thoughts and crafts from a mind that is full of both. I am talented in my mind but regularly run full throttle into the wall of procrastination. I have raised procrastination to an art form. A friend once told me I have a BS in BS and a minor in excuse making. If there is anyway to get out of doing my best, I will do my best to get out of it. Welcome to my saburban life. : ).. Lol.

Our Backyard..
A river runs through it.
Milo loves it.
Especially the mud puddles.
Some people get crop circles,
our aliens have a sense of humor.
We get concrete squares.
There are two of them about four
feet apart. Both are about the same
size and the same depth.
Not quite sure where they came from,
but this is the first year I've noticed them.
Something is missing from this picture..
I might have to get some of those
this weekend. : )..

It's been a great day.. : )..
Even though it was just as loud as ever out there today,
I had a great day. : )..
Woot Woot!

Itunes and iPhone Troubles Oh My..
After having our iphones for almost
two years, there was a recent downloaded
"upgrade" that Apple put out.
Instead of making my phone better,
it unleashed trouble like no other.
Every time that my phone connected to Itunes,
it would wipe out my contacts.
I lost my entire phone contact list,
with the exception of the people on my favorites
list. It only wiped out there names.
Nice. I could call and ask, "Who is this?"
Lol. Not going to happen.
Especially since this in an ongoing issue.
Next step? Called Apple.
Oooh no problem.
It's because I'm not signed in under
my own Itunes account.
Got one started.
Can't get my card info correct so I
can't get an account going in my name.
Their solution?
Delete it and reinstall the program.
Did that. Hate the new format so I tried downloading
one of the older versions.
Didn't work.
Now? I can't even get the current one
installed and open to sign back into Dutch's account either.
Aye Carumba.
SMH.

My evening in a nutshell..
We went to our friend's for a Memorial Day BBQ.
We went without any alcohol.
Only took a 2 liter bottle of soda.
They of course, had bought some Crown Royal.
Using pics from previous posts,
this is how it went.
Lol. The food was delish.
Then?
There are reasons why I don't get into political
conversations, or let others get into politcal
conversations with my spouse.
I needed duct tape.
Lots of duct tape.
Lots, and lots, and lots, and lots of duct tape.
The manufacturers would think that they could stop
producing and retire with the amount I could have used.
Politics!!
Politics!!
Politics!!
Ugh. Lets talk about something
else. Hey! How about those Royals?!
"Who cares about the Royals?!
Politics!! Politics!! Politics!!"
ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!
Politics!!
Politics!!
Politics!!
Ugh. : (..
Politics!!
Politics!!
Politics!!
Ohhhh.. : (..
Politics!!
Politics!!
Politics!!
Enough already.
Politics!!
Politics!!
Politics!!
Dude. You all are even killing Will Wheaton.
Politics!!
Politics!!
Politics!!
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!
Politics!!
Politics!!
Politics!!
AFAFHDFAFHAH!
They even wore out the zombies.
Have zombies attacking you?
I can send some people over and it'll
drive the zombies away.
Politics!!
Politics!!
Politics!!
I needed the Crown Royal by the time
the evening was over.
Politics!!
Politics!!
Politics!!
Did I mention, this loud conversation
took place outside, late at night,
despite our repeated requests to keep voices
down? Neighbors came outside
thinking that something was going on out
there. They finally stopped at midnight.
Why can't people have normal, quiet,
calm debates about politics?
I'm all Rodney King,
"Can't we all just get along?"
O.M.G.
If I didn't love music so much,
I would have driven rusty spoons through
my ears tonight.
Sigh.
Time to call it a night.

Global Corporate Challenge..
Taking part in the Global Corporate challenge at work this year.
Each group has seven members.
We are supposed to walk at least 10,000 steps each day
and we have Pulse pedometers to keep track.
Doing pretty well but since my job is stationary, I'm putting plans
into action to reach and exceed the goal.
I'll walk in place for five minutes each hour while I'm at work,
And finish by walking the neighborhood.
The fun part?
The team names are crazy fun.
The Holy Walkamolies.
Ott2Walk.
Stuck Between a Walk and a Hard Pace.
Victorious Secret.
More Cardio Less Lardio.
Christopher Walkin.
Walkaholics.
ManChestHair United.
Scrambled Legs.
Roamin Goddesses.
Thin It To Win It.
Your Pace or Mine.
Waist Management.
I had suggested our team name
as "We Like to Moovit, Moovit"
Since Kansas City is called Cow Town but that got shot down.
Good thing because someone else used
"We Like To Move It" too.
Our teams name?
It's a mishmash from three of us.
One is a Bostonian so he wanted something for him,
ergo Sox and Fiyah ironically.
One wanted the Walkin part.
And then I got it all together after getting into
a fire alarm account at work.
Our team name is:
"Our Walkin Sox Are On Fiyah!"
Let the walking begin!

Such a love-ly day.. : )..
Kept finding hearts while I was out and about today.
Found this one early.
And then these two little love-lies
this evening at home.
: )..
Lol..
Had some wine to celebrate
my friend's birthday today..
And thought that this was a fitting way
to end the day.

The Spider Who Would Not Die..
Our friends had this little doozie
outside of their apartment
the other day and it
took quite a bit
of work to kill it..
Then they debated what type it was..
Tonight? I found one in our utility room..
That was about the actual size
of it, and I wasn't taking
any chances.
However, it was also the spider
who refused to die.
I moved, it moved,
I jumped, it jumped,
I jabbed the broom and it ducked..
I don't know what kind mine
was either. I'm not going to debate it,
all I know, it was huge and it was
in my house. Lol.
Sorry to all of the spider friends
out there who don't condone killing them.
They need to tell them not to
move into my house and
get that big.
I don't have a picture of mine either
because I was NOT going to get that close to it!
One of our local meteorologists
always said, you are never more than 3 feet
away from a spider at any given moment.
I'm sure that spider probably had
a big spider family and they are probably in our
house as well. Ack!
I hope not!
