Extreme Makeover.. Joplin Edition..

Sorry to see this show end, but whatta way to do it.  I started my college life at Missouri Southern State College in Joplin.  It was so hard to see how hard it was hit and how much devastation and loss of life there was.  It is great to see part of it being rebuilt.  I would love to be able to go down there and pitch in myself.  The sense of community will never be torn apart, despite the tornado's best efforts.  Great show, great job.

I was fortunate enough to have chosen to attend Joplin's Missouri Southern State College after high school.  This town was always a great place and I was able to go back there a couple times since then.  The tornado that ripped it apart has only made it stronger.  They still need so much help with the rebuilding so any help is appreciated.  Here are some links for anyone who is interested.

I attended Missouri Southern State University back in the fall of 1987.  I loved the school and the area.  I am sorry to see the devastation they suffered this year.  Here are some quick links for them.  I will be glad to see them recover and start to rebuild.  They are on my mind and in my heart.
