Suhweet little babies.. : )

I'm a member of a Cairn Terrier Facebook page,

and one of our member's furbaby, Cato, had

seven sweet little puppies.

Here is a great video of their progression.

They are all out in the world with their

new furever homes, with the exception

of one sweet little girl who stayed with her birth family.

However, as cute as he is now,

I can just imagine how it's

going to be howling at everything once he's older.

The Ferginator's face finally caught on camera.

Lol.  These puppies are fast little critters.

They can stare at you for days on end until you grab

the camera.  Then you see a side, top or back view.

Our KC Chiefs are 6-0 after a rousing routing of

those dastardly Oakland Raiders..

Our fans??  Cheered them on to a Guiness Book of World Records

137.5 cheer, making KC the loudest outdoor NFL Stadium again.

Someone's going to lose their little mind

Someone who did this the first night we had it.. 

And this the first day we had those..

 Not too long after they got a hold of this..

And soon, ooooh so soon when these..

come in the mail..  : )..

Our sweet little Milo..

He loves those little squeakers..

We used to get them at PetSmart until

they stopped selling them individually..

We found a supply of them online..

He's got a bag of 80 squeakers

set to arrive by Friday!

He's going to be one happy little guy!

Late nite early mornin..

Makes Jan a little later than she planned at work this mornin.  Didn't make it in until after noon, had planned to be there by 10am.  Lol.  No worries.  Had some inbound feedbacks to do on calls from the inbound class I did a quality assurance presentation for earlier this week.  The six calls I pulled today were all great!  Yay!  I would say that it was my great rollout, but I am betting it was just a great class that wants to learn.  Go class!  Might have to make them some yummy Rachel Ray Fake Out Deep Fried Ice Cream treats for their graduation party.  : )..  (that recipe by the way, is located HERE)

Emmy celebrated her Cairn Terrier heritage by diggin a hole this morning.

 Workin hard..

Milo supervised.  Always helpful.  : )..

Came back home and threw together a quick dinner.

 A little sliced Polish Sausage and one whole onion..

 Sautee'd that until sausage was browned and the onions were carmelized..

 Some boiled peas, drained with a smidge of butter, salt and faux sugar (sweetener)..

 Tossed salad tossed together..  Sprinkled with salt, pepper and a little garlic salt..

 Milo supervised..  : )..

And helped shred my lettuce..  Lol..

The best part of the day?  DH finally figured out that one of our genius furnace technicians wired our computer module wrong, corrected it and voila.  We have a fully functional furnace again.  Geez.  Those two goobers need to turn their tech id's in and learn the phrase, "Do you want fries with that?"  We have a warm house again!!  Yay!!  We've made it through the past couple winters with a radiant and kerosene heater, but there's nothing like a warm house where we don't have to reset or fill either heater!  : )..  Yay!!  Boobs.  : (..  We have heat!!  Yay!!  Boobs.  Alrighty, I'm off to enjoy our warm basement!  Yay!!  Boobs.  Idiots.  Nincompoops.  Whew.  We have heat!  Yay!

However, I think we have yet another one of these instead... 

These being...  Yup...  Another broken toenail...  Possibly...  Yeah...  That would make broken toenail number four.  #1 was his left front paw.  #2 was his back right paw.  #3 was his right front paw.  And now?  He's been favoring his left back paw.  One toenail per foot.  I'm thinkin, he's still got 20 more that could break?  Yikes!  K...  Sooo....  I feel like SUCH a bad puppy momma right now... 

I'm embarrassed to have to call the vet's office again.  We don't abuse him, honest!  Lol.  He's just too rambunctious and over zealous and can't stop leaping off the deck steps when he spots something to bark at.  My solution?  I am going to put up another railing down the outside of our steps this weekend.

 

Sooo...  I googled "Dogs toenails breaking" and much to my guilty relief, discovered, we are not alone.  There are dogs out there that also have the same issue!  I'm not a bad puppy momma!  Yay!  Milo's not the only one!  One site suggested it could be genetic, which, considering the fact that Emmy never had any broken nails, might explain part of the problem.  Emmy is AKC registered, while Milo was only APRI (even though we never got his registration papers).  Emmy was also puppy crazy and over zealous at first. 

The site also suggested that it might be a food issue and that we should switch to something healthier like Blue Buffalo.  Our former groomer always suggested Innova. 

Last, but not least, the site also suggested using a few drops of Cod Liver Oil on their food to strengthen his nails.  "Aunt Chelsea" just trimmed them as close to the quick as she could, so they aren't too long.  Chelsea's mom suggested using Tea Tree Oil, because her fingernails were always brittle and it helped her.  I am allll for finding a solution.  I'm just sooo relieved that I am not a bad puppy momma.  : )..  Not that I was really that worried about that.  Milo has got to be the happiest little puppy on the planet!  Lol.  Anyway, hope that we can figure something out!  Asap!
