Welcome

Just a few rambling thoughts and crafts from a mind that is full of both. I am talented in my mind but regularly run full throttle into the wall of procrastination. I have raised procrastination to an art form. A friend once told me I have a BS in BS and a minor in excuse making. If there is anyway to get out of doing my best, I will do my best to get out of it. Welcome to my saburban life. : ).. Lol.

Artic cold, pizza and delivery drivers.. Oh my!

Whew!  It was a brisque 7 degrees this morning.  Not sure what it was last night, but I'm betting it was pretty close to that when we thought about ordering a pizza.  We've been spoiled with some nice, mild weather all winter, so imagine my surprise when I let the pups out last night after getting home from work.  Yikes!  None of us stayed out long!  Emmy and Milo were more than happy to come back inside!  Which is unusual for them as well.  They love playing outside, no matter what the temperature might be.  They did their business and bolted back up the deck steps and ran in the door with me.

Soo.  Papa John's had a Super Bowl deal last week.  Anyone who signed up for their Papa John Fan Club would win a free, large, one topping pizza and a 2 litre of Pepsi Max if the coin toss came up heads.  Sign me up!  I jumped on that deal.  Lo and behold!  The coin toss?  Heads.  Right on!  : )..   Printed my coupon and was thinking about cashing it in last night.  However!  Yikes.  We don't have a Papa Johns close enough to our house for them to deliver.  I would have had to go and pick it up.  Lol.  Umm..  Nah..  That's ok.  We've got Pizza Hut a hop, skip and a jump away.  And..  They deliver.  On a freeeeeeeezing cold night.  Without me having to go out and brave the cold.

Soo.  Pizza Hut it was.  Yummy.  Hawaiian pizza with boneless buffalo wings.  Yikes!  I got the medium hot flavor and dipped them in ranch dressing.  Still smokin!  I'll go with mild next time.  Or our usual, Garlic Parmesan or maybe Honey BBQ.  Whew!  Those were hot.  Even with the ranch dressing.  I'm surprised it didn't give both of us heartburn.  I think it was thinkin about it.  I did tip our driver well though.  : )..  I used to drive for Domino's when I lived in Fulton, so I showed my driver some appreciation for braving those frigid temps!

We did venture out this morning though.  It had warmed to a balmy 9 degrees.  Came back home and took the pups out to play with their ball in the back yard.  Emmy kicked it around for a few minutes until Milo got control, and he kicked it all over the yard.  Until Emmy got control over it and laid over it, snarling every time Milo tried to get close.  Milo had to settle for lunging and barking until he got control over it again, by running around Emmy until she fell off of it.  I came back in for the camera and he had kicked it under our shed by the time I got back outside.  I fished it back out and they chased it for a while, until my ears were hurting.  Lol.  Dang weather!  I grabbed the ball and we all headed for the door!  Whew!  Neither pups were complaining about coming back inside today!  Brrrrrrr!  Yikes!  Brrrrr!  I think we'll spend most of the day hiding out and playing with the ball inside.
