Welcome

Just a few rambling thoughts and crafts from a mind that is full of both. I am talented in my mind but regularly run full throttle into the wall of procrastination. I have raised procrastination to an art form. A friend once told me I have a BS in BS and a minor in excuse making. If there is anyway to get out of doing my best, I will do my best to get out of it. Welcome to my saburban life. : ).. Lol.

The Spider Who Would Not Die..

Our friends had this little doozie
outside of their apartment
the other day and it
took quite a bit
of work to kill it..
Then they debated what type it was..

Tonight?  I found one in our utility room..
That was about the actual size
of it, and I wasn't taking
any chances.
However, it was also the spider
who refused to die.
I moved, it moved,
I jumped, it jumped,
I jabbed the broom and it ducked..
I don't know what kind mine
was either.  I'm not going to debate it,
all I know, it was huge and it was
in my house.  Lol.
Sorry to all of the spider friends
out there who don't condone killing them.
They need to tell them not to
move into my house and
get that big.
I don't have a picture of mine either
because I was NOT going to get that close to it!

One of our local meteorologists
always said, you are never more than 3 feet
away from a spider at any given moment.
I'm sure that spider probably had
a big spider family and they are probably in our
house as well.  Ack!
I hope not!

  1. Can't tell for sure, but it looks like a wolf spider. Fairly harmless. :)

    1. Thanks Cecilia, that's what everyone ended up with on that one. I think that's what mine actually was, and he actually ended up making it through me chasing him around yesterday. Don't know how, but he did. Or there was a second one. Yikes!
